Despite its unassuming exterior, the building retains almost all its contents from its days as an operational hospital. I was taken aback to discover a fully-equipped infant surgical suite. Disturbingly, one room appeared as though a surgery had been interrupted and hastily abandoned, with instruments and equipment left in place. Throughout, there were numerous medical apparatuses and beds still in situ.
