Miller's Chapel
I was on my way to another spot when I passed by this gem. Nearly everything needed to conduct service is still inside. The structure is starting to sag on the east side. Which I pointed out to Joe, the husband of the owner, when he pulled up. He saw me parked outside & pulled up to see what I was doing. Naturally he thought I was there to vandalize or steal. Once he saw my camera gear, he bought my story. He proceeded to tell me the history of the church. He said it closed in the 1960's! His wife decided to buy the property from the organization to try & preserve it. He said he was supposed to be keeping up the place, but was recently injured & hasn't been able to fulfill his duty. He said they'd rented out the place to group for awhile, which explains some of the modernization.
