There's not a lot out there on Poplas Elementary in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Some of the people on the street said the school had been closed for about 50 years. Looking online, the last I found was one person who had finished elementary school here in 1968. Which fits the timeline. Another guy told me the school had asbestos. The school was pretty stripped. The actual frame of the school looks incredibly well built.
