When I had read up on this former complex, I was under the impression it was a girl's 'school'. Upon this exploration I discovered this was a prison compound. It looks like a private school with the stone structured buildings & the one that looks like it's straight out of Jurassic Park. The long hall way of jail cells was immediately depressing. The tiny rooms, cells, with one little bed & it was the barred windows when it finally dawned on me, 'This is a prison'. I thought at first, 'Man these dorm rooms are small!' When I got home, I went back to the web & discovered there are more than 40 law suits against the former compound. Some of the accusations I read were enough to mortify anyone. Especially those parents with daughters, like myself. As I understand it, this place was destructed by a tornado. The 'FInger of God' at work? I have explored hundreds of places, but this one brought a real sadness.
